“ I'm glad I came here and not the Irish pub down the road. I'm sure it is fine. The woman at the bar gave me stink eye when I was looking in from the door. McReilly's is great tho! I came here and went with the Farmers Special. Everything tastes fresh and excellent service. The tator tots were pretty awesome! The bartender did a real decent pour on the Guiness aswell! It is a public house not a Irish pub she told me they change their menu when they want and offer a variety ..amazing! The chicken parm sandwhich looked amazing and patrons said how good it was. Def getting it next time if it is available! I'm sure it is all good. The place has a very warm feel, good classic music Beatles , Fleetwood Mac etc.. and everyone makes eye contact. I also imagine the night time vibe is just as cozy if not more. Check it out you wont be disappointed !! ”

“ Exceptional meal, service and atmosphere for my birthday dinner with family. The roasted beet salad was a treasure trove of surprisingly complimentary contrasts from the candied nuts to the pickled red onions and cheese in the house balsamic dressing that harmonized textures and flavours in perfect balance. Vegetarian options pleased my wife. The cost of the meal was very reasonable and I think the same meal would cost 2 or 3 times more in Toronto. We’ll be back soon! ”

My kids (8 and 12) ordered chicken wings, fries, and an ice-cream cookie along with mozzarella sticks, while I went for the chicken salad—and everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. My salad was particularly amazing, packed with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavours. What truly made the visit special was the outstanding service. Our waitress was wonderful with my kids, making them feel welcome and ensuring they had everything they needed. We even had a great conversation with her about hedgehogs, which was a fun and unexpected bonus since we have one as a pet! It’s not often you find a place that delivers both excellent food and top-tier service, but McReilly’s nailed it. Highly recommend for a great meal out with the family! ”

“ I had their best selling roast beef sandwich dinner here. It was nice and juicy. The sandwich comes with french fries. The fries is a bit too salty for me. The waiter was friendly and helpful. I went in the summer so can sit outside in the patio and enjoy the vibe of Barrie's downtown. The price is reasonable for a nice restaurant in downtown area. I spent 30 for the sandwich and a glass of ginger ale after tax. ”
